Tropical Expressions

This is the most random little greenhouse ever - tucked away on the mountain in a residential area. However, inside is quite large with a great selection of succulents and cacti, and then a full greenhouse of bonsai trees - tons of varieties, both trimmed and untrimmed, and then the largest selection of airplants around. The untrimmed trees are very well priced compared to anything you'll find anywhere else. Generally takes me an hour to get out of here while I narrow down the plethora of options. Highly recommended for both beginner and advanced plant keepers.

Updated - I'm editing my review as I have now been here dozens of times and there are things that I don't like. There's only one employee, one particular girl, who takes the time to talk to you. Staff don't educate much and leave out very important information upon purchasing (ie a species that doesn't tolerate transplanting right away which would've been helpful to know when I was buying the tree and a new pot). Prices vary depending on who you ask. Quarantine anything you buy as they tend to come with pests. And finally, they've had hundreds of Haworthia succulents now for a couple months that are dying and they still won't bring the price down.

Very unique florist! This is defiantly the place to go for Bonsai Trees, lots of options to choose from at a variety of prices. Located in a residential neighbourhood so a bit strange getting there but very worth it!

Great spot! They have a huge variety of different plants. Lots of air plants, succulents and other exotic plants. The staff are very helpful as well!

This little (large) gem blew me away! Tropical Expressions carry a wide range of tropical and exotic plants, with a huge bonsai section. There are two greenhouses which are great fun to explore, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I picked up a first bonsai tree as a gift and was tempted by their cacti, air plants and wonderfully crafted hanging ornaments. There are even devoted parkings for customers right in front so you have no excuse for not checking it out. Get on in there!
