Awesome place to canoe or kayak. Lots of different types of birds to see, including a pair of bald eagles.
Beautiful place to stroll along. So many butterflies and diverse in many native plants.
Great place to see winter wildlife and the bay/marshlands are cool to see all frozen over. All areas are open but trails can get slippery so be cautious, especially on inclines. Slips and falls can easily happen.
Outstanding place to take your dogs for a great hike. Trails are well taken care of, clean tidy, with beautiful rest spots. Well done RBG.
Part of the Niagara Escarpment, a conservation area at the heart of two neighbouring cities (Hamilton and Burlington), a beautiful place to visit any time of the year. Have a pocketful of seeds and you might get lucky enough to have chickadees eat from your palm. You can choose out of the 27 km of trails - some link to other regional trails. Bring comfortable clothes, water, a camera, and be prepared to be amazed.
