Is the Carlton still open? I fuzzucking hope it is; it is - or was - one of the last true, authentic dive bars in Hamilton, with cheap beer, cheap pool and an expectation of the unexpected at any moment. a great old institution, especially if you like drinking on the other side of the tracks.
