(August 7, 2021, 8:46 pm)I absolutely love visiting The Occurence while I am visiting in Haliburton. They have beautiful puzzles for purchase, but above that, the owners are friendly and helpful. It's always fun to stop by and see what new projects they have on the go. They also can create custom puzzles, which make a great gift for friends, family or for yourself! It should be noted that the quality of their puzzle pieces are 10 out of 10. Sturdy and well fitting.

(October 8, 2020, 7:14 pm)Yesterday I had the most wonderful and interesting experience when I saw a sign on Industrial Rd. in Haliburton, Ont. that said “Puzzle Factory”. Following the direction I found the office/ showroom/ factory for “The Occurrence”. There I met Bridget, one half of the team and she was so interesting to talk with! I love jigsaw puzzles but when she explained the wonderful stories behind each one, it just made everything come alive! I wish I could have bought every one! And... she even gave me a tour of their workroom and showed me the whole process from beginning to end. It was fascinating! The quality of the puzzles is excellent. I bought Haliburton Road Trip, as I love road signs and when I told her how I love the sign of the deer crossing that someone has added a big red circle 🔴 sticker to make it look like Rudolph, she pointed it out to me on the puzzle!! That’s when I knew it would be my first purchase from them! I will be back. Thank you Bridget!

(August 23, 2020, 12:45 pm)Finally - puzzles that aren't all about kittens! I've done pretty much every puzzle in their inventory. Gorgeous mineral and fossil photography for those of us that love beautiful puzzles, but hate saccharine landscapes.
I came in while they weren't too busy, and the owners gave me a peek in the back room where they manufacture their puzzles. I even got one hot off the press!
The perfect place to stock up on your quarantine activity box.
