This trail was tough! Very mucky in Mid October following lots of rain. The first incline was super steep so pack your patience. Views were very pretty but recommend going early October to see the leaf colours. Very much appreciate the ending decent of the staircase and even terrain towards the parking lot. Try to get here early as by the time we’d left there were people fighting over parking.
Trail ended up being 5.5k and completed in 2h02m.

We try to do this trail every year, a real gem of the park! We stick to the traditional route entering through the entrance, although we notice many people enter through the exit as it’s an easier climb to the peak with a wood staircase to aid the ascent. It took us 1h 35min to complete the trail this year walking quickly and stopping briefly at the top for photos. It’s a bit of a steep incline to the top but very doable. Once at the lookout above you can see the beauty of the park for miles! A great spot to stop, have a snack and enjoy the beautiful fall colours. Additionally, the exit of the trail is very easy to navigate as it’s relaxing walk along a beautiful beach shoreline. We will continue to do this trail every year as it gives us the best bang for our buck. Shorter and easier to navigate than Centennial Ridges with one of the best views in the park as your payoff.

A beautiful hike with a short incline and views galore thereafter. Great lakeside views on the return to the parking lot. If going on a fall weekend, arrive early to ensure your spot.

Really nice hike. Took about two hours and we had our dog with us. She had a great time. Beautiful views from the cliff tops for a relatively modest amount of effort.

Booth's Rock Trail is an intermediate roundtrip that takes roughly two hours to complete. You will discover forests, cliffs, ruins, wetlands and a lake. You can observe multiple animals such as frogs and turtles. This is one of my favourite hiking trails in Algonquin Park. Make sure to bring some water and bug spray.
