(June 13, 2019, 2:44 pm)My husband and I have reserved a site and have camped there for the past 4-5 yrs. It is a quiet subdued and well treed campground with Electricity and water. Very good for relaxing, although not much for kids. There is a small playground for the kids and they love fishing in the river. There is a beach area overlooking the picturesque McGowan Falls where I believe the fishing is very good. Annual campground fees are reasonable.

(January 28, 2019, 3:56 pm)Cheap weekend camping with plenty of fun for the whole family! We will take our tubes here and inflatables and play in the river all day. Good place to fish too. Waters clear and the trails are beautiful. There are plenty of camp ground events we went to a couple the halloween and terry fox run and they ran agreat amount of fun for the kids and food by donation. We love coming here in the summer to camp and will be returning again and again.
