The place is quiet and clean. No goose ! Father Peter is super friendly and accommodating. There is a boat to play with. There is a kitchen available and showers with hot water. Frankly, I can’t find anything to complain about ! This was by far the best campground and the best company we had on our trip !

Father Peter welcomed us to his lovely property. He drove us to our spot, provided an extra extension cord so we could hook up, COOKED for all the travelers, pointed us to blueberries to pick, told us to pick through the garden; you name it : ) He's built two bunkhouses. There's a cookhouse and a small chapel. There's a lake and a beach volleyball area. He even offered us his boat! Now it can only handle a few trailers but there's lots of room to tent. There only a small wash house and no access to fresh water (though there is UV treated lake water), but what a quiet, personable difference compared to the hundreds-of-spaces campgrounds directly next door.

Stayed at Villa Maria on our last leg of the Seven Day trip around Georgian Bay. Beautiful and quiet campsite. Father Peter provided us with a Polish Sausage as a welcome treat and Freshly baked Croissants in the morning. He even offered us to pick fresh herbs on his garden and wild blueberries near campsite!

What a fantastic surprise! We weren’t sure exactly what to expect but what we received as hospitality was certainly above any expectations one might have had. An awesome host with a great space for friends and groups to come together...not your typical campsite rather something much better.

Thank you Father Peter for a fantastic stay!

We really enjoyed our one night stay. Peter who is a local Priest runs the place, he is super welcoming, he even started a campfire for us. This is a basic camp ideal for those wishing quiet space and lots of room. Don't let the two over crowded campgrounds you pass on the way in scare you, Villa Maria is the exact opposite. Huge space, very few campers. Lots of privacy. We will return.
