  Huge respects for all the staff in Stave Off. I've been going there for over a year now and I feel confident about lifting weights every time I go. It's always a fun class and the people are so great to sweat with. The trainers always greet us with a smile and are always helpful in answering questions about fitness and nutrition. My first day there was actually the first time I ever used bars with weights and doing basic exercises (squats, deadlifts, bench press etc). They helped me overcome my fear of strength training after years of cardio and being told that weights aren't good for women. I always aim to go 3-4 times a week on top of the physical training I do at work. I've lost over 13lbs in the past year and have noticed big differences in the weights I started with and the weights I can lift now. Thanks a lot Nick and Christina!

  I have been coming to Stave Off for a year and it has been such a positive addition to my life. If you are looking for a comfortable, encouraging environment to motivate you I highly recommend Stave Off. Both the gym and the physio therapy are exceptional and they can help you get to where you want to be - at any age. Nick and Christina are knowledgeable and inspiring with a strong sense of community and commitment to their members.

  Excellent coaches! They have a wealth of expertise between the two of them. The atmosphere is very friendly and supportive, they also bring their two lovely dogs in everyday which is AWESOME! Physiotherapy here is also the best I have received in Kingston.
