Balzac's Kingston

Love the coffee and the pastries, but the new manager just fired my favorite barista without cause - someone who had a smile on her face and a friendly word with all of us regulars. Is it coincidental she is the only person of colour that worked there? In any case, I will be taking my business down the road to Crave. If they can't spot a "keeper employee" I don't care to support them.

Lovely café with a warm, welcoming ambiance and attentive and helpful staff! Very aesthetically pleasing. The perfect place for a tasty drink and a sweet breakfast or mid-day treat.

As an enthusiast of french culture, and being french myself, its incredible, to see a coffee chain dedicated to such a prominent figure such as Balzac. It did not disappoint! Only have one question, when will you open a location in Quebec? 😊
