St. Thomas Elevated Park

Had a bit of difficulty finding the exact place. We ended up parking on the road and snow shoeing up. It was a great little trek with a good view of the area from the top.

Signage could be a bit better.

It's a fun little spot to visit, with short hike up the hill. There are a couple of benches on the bridge as well as a few art pieces by local artists.

Interesting concept for a park. It will be amazing once completed.

What a beautiful spot to see high above the city of St Thomas and surrounding area. This elevated park, the fist of its kind in Ontario and maybe even Canada, has a lot of potential. It's only in the early stages and I can see the opportunities that this park has. Come out for a quick visit if you haven't already done so.

This will likely be an unfair review in a couple of years. Right now it's pretty limited. It's only half done, the wooden floor isn't installed, and there only a few pieces of art up. It does provide a cool view, but it's early in the project. I'm looking forward to seeing what this is like in a couple of years.
