My Mom-in-law is well adjusted in Elgin Manor. The staff is consistently awesome. They care and it shows. The food is really tasty. My husband and I have had meals with her, and beautiful rooms are provided if we prefer a private meal setting. The place is spotless and spacious. The secure unit is designed to benefit the patients, and it is also large and clean. The secure unit patients are regularly supervised to be able to enjoy outings, and the lobby area has daily coffee and treats for visiting patients. My husband and I don't regret our choice. Ask for a tour and you'll feel like you're in the lobby of a resort when you arrive.
