  We had a campsite for about 3 years back in the early 2000s. We found the park very nice with friendly neighbours and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the 3rd year we had some family health problems and were unable to make it out to our campsite for most of the season. When we finally got back to our site to close the site and trailer for the season we found that our site had been stripped clean. Our deck chairs, electric griddle, firepit ring and numerous other items we had been stolen. So the moral of the story is, as with anywhere you go in life, there are theives. People who aren’t guided by right and wrong but rather whether or not they will get caught.
  We were very disappointed and disheartened, sold the trailer and gave up the site the next spring. We shouldn’t have been so naive.

  Incredible place, just stunning especially right now at this time of year. Dogs are welcomed as long as on a leash (but if well behaved, it's an amazing off leash locations, but the rules are stated dogs must be leashed, and picked up after!). We walked the larger trail and the trail was well maintained, only slightly muddy here and there but my shoes were fine when done. Took us about an hour and a bit to walk the one trail at a fairly average walking pace, with dogs and strollers. The leaves are turning so its just truly gorgeous all around you as you walk. I'll be back without a doubt.
