  I've been going to DNA for almost a year and it is a fantastic in every way. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging; the students are all helpful and eager to progress; and the variety of pricing and schedule should accommodate all. Highly recommended.

  Before choosing where I’d learn bjj I read a lot of reviews.. I was blown away by the amazing feedback from people training at DNA so I went in to start my trial week!! Right away I loved the warm, welcoming environment. I’ve now been training here for almost 2 months and I’m literally always excited for class! What a great place to learn and grow; the members are very helpful and respectful of each other. I go to as many classes as I can because it’s so rewarding seeing progress - you really get out of it what you put in. Dainis and Sarah are great instructors and coaches, it’s been a privilege getting to know and train with everyone here.

  Amazing place that allows you to have fun and be active. The instructors are very approachable and great with kids, who always go the extra mile to maximize everyone’s experience. They make the extra effort to make it a family-like gym by arranging a lot of extra events for all the members. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get their kids or themselves active!

  Amazing Gym, as someone with no previous experience in any Martial Arts i was a little nervous attending my first class. The coaches do an amazing job encouraging you, and explaining the techniques in a way you will understand. The other members of the gym do an incredible job making you feel welcomed. And from my experience they all want to help you succeed and encourage you to be the best version of yourself. I would highly recommend attending this gym and giving it a try regardless of your experience level!

  Great clean friendly atmosphere and plenty of high level people to roll with. Came in for a visit and had plenty of people to train with and walked out injury free. Would recommend this place from beginner to advanced skills level grapplers.

Meet Nuno Ribeiro, he is a 42 year old husband, father of two, and a full time driver for the TTC(Toronto Transit Commision). He started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with us at Team DNA BJJ in Whitby in May of 2016. When we first met him, he was a bigger guy who was very out of shape and had a lot of physical pain.
