  This place has the basics and a pretty good selection for a discount grocery store. However two complaints I have are that the carts still require a dollar deposit... come on. And the cashiers dont bag groceries, not even if you're the only person in line and could use the assistance. Very poor customer service in my opinion.

  Drawn between 3 and 4 stars. Supermarket is generally good value. I actually like the fruit and veg - it’s generally better quality and cheaper than the more expensive supermarkets. They are also increasing their stock on import foods, eg Chinese, Indian ingredients etc. This is fantastic if, like me, you really enjoy cooking with these types of ingredients. What sucks? Their meat is generally not so good. Bread selection is average. Cheese selection is average at best. All part and parcel of being a smaller supermarket but frustrating. Also - what really annoys me is that they seem to be constantly out of stock for the items they do carry. This happens way more in Freshco than other supermarkets. Finally, I hate having to find a quarter each time to use the shopping carts. That really winds me up. Especially when they really suck at putting the baskets at the entrance door (they tend to just let these pile up at the checkouts and very infrequently bring these back to the entrance so you have to do it yourself!). So, in summary, good supermarket and fairly priced - but lots of little issues that they could fix quite easily.

  Close to my place and convenient. Good specials and not pretentious. Discount groceries and fits the bill if that is what you are looking for.

  Great service, good variety of products. Affordable prices and they price match. Well organized and ample parking lot. Convenient location within a shopping plaza, almost no lines at checkout.
