  A great and loving place where God's word is preached. This church truly cares for it's community with it many outreaches and a willingness to serve. This church being my childhood truly has some genuinely loving people and I most surely would recommend it to others.

  Evangel Church is a warm and welcoming community that clearly understands the message of the Gospel and staff conduct themselves in a loving/professional manner. The morning services are wonderful and effective. There are seasonal events held for families every year and their kids program is wonderful. With that being said, there is no youth or young adults program at this time which is problematic for any member that desires to be involved in a program that's suits their needs. If this were to change, I see a prosperous and bright future regarding the growth of this church.

About | Evangel Church

Rev. Ron Ellis (1965-1967) was the first pastor of the newly formed EVANGEL Pentecostal Church. The Ritson Road building was sold and for a 3 year period the congregation meet at T.R. McEwen School on Wilson Rd (now David Bouchard Public School).
