Regarding Deb Dobsons review of Headwaters Plumbing Ltd. I am an owner in the business and it was me who went to do some work for this lady. She had some unrealistic expectations which I tried in vain to explain to her. I was told I was around the 4th plumber to be involved in this project. I now know why no one else ever went back, some even leaving tools etc. on site just because they could not deal with her. After determining she was not someone I wanted to have as a client based on her actions, attitude and warnings from other tradespeople on site. I just wanted to be paid for the services I had already rendered. Knowing what she is like, I decided to bring a witness with me for my own safety. After arriving, she refused to answer the door, and started screaming at us through her window that we weren't getting a penny from her...this after she agreed to pay on the phone. I work very hard, it is not an easy living and I have plenty of very happy clients. I also like to get paid for the work I do. At one point she threatened to call the police, but I was already on my phone talking to them, explaining the situation. Finally someone pulled into the driveway and went into the house, soon coming out and tapped on my window. I rolled my window down and he literally through the money at us and said some more derogatory things. In my opinion, Deb Dobson is a bully and and deliberately caused friction with every trade that I spoke to, some were even afraid to talk.....I would like to also present this as a warning to other trades she may contact for work in the future, do yourself a favour and avoid this person at all costs, it just isn't worth it sometimes.
My Wife and I moved into a beautiful 150 year old home in 2009 and the previous owners had highly recommended Headwaters Plumbing. Naturally, we gave them a try as they would also have been intimately familiar with our home and its' plumbing infrastructure.
What we have found in the nine years since that time, is that Headwaters Plumbing, Dan and his team, are without a doubt the most reliable and accommodating service company, with whom we have ever dealt.
I would recommend this company highly and would continue to rely on them for any emergency, repair or complete installations.
