(April 19, 2017, 6:40 pm)We grew up in the Netherlands and Van Straten manages to bake a superb quality Fruit Bread with Almond Filling just like we had at home. Traditionally we treat ourselves to this delicacy at Christmas and Easter and we always enjoy it so much I felt like writing this review to let the Van Straten Bakers know they do a fantastic job. The whole family loves a slice with butter and the Fruit Bread is gone before we know it. My thanks also go out to the Dutch grocery store in Ottawa who make sure they have the fruit bread in stock in time for the festive days. Keep up the good work and know that you always make our Christmas and Easter very special.

(December 21, 2015, 4:42 pm)I regularly visit their booth at the farmers market. They always have a good and fresh variety of baked goods. I am particularly fond of the vanilla bars! If you are at the farmers market you must check them out!
