I popped in for a fishing reel and stayed for their chat. We traded stories for about two hours.
They were very polite and helpful. The guys suggested a few different spots and even helped with a few tips and trick.
Their selection and price is reasonably good.
Great place, I will go back again. -

(May 9, 2018, 6:49 pm)Prices are high on most gear, this is mainly a fly fishing supply shop. Staff is generally rude unless you're spending a fair amount of money.
It's the best spot on the peninsula but I greatly prefer cabelas. -

This coupled with a wide selection of quality product makes shopping at Fishing Fever a great experience... you'll never find the customer support they provide at any of the big box stores in the area.

(February 10, 2018, 2:49 pm)This place has great and knowledgeable staff. They clearly know their stuff and they don't try and upsell you needlessly. If they're pushing the more extensive stuff it's because they really think you need it. The parking isn't great but that's because of the location and not much can be helped.
The place is also much bigger on the inside than you'd expect from the front.
Probably the best fishing shop in town.
