(March 8, 2022, 5:04 am)I had the meat moussaka here, and my boyfriend had the chicken shawarma. Both came with rice + Turkish salad and where delicious!! The owner was super friendly, the service was really good. It was also a really good price for the huge portion sizes

(March 4, 2022, 4:00 pm)What a lovely gem we found! All the dishes were amazing, fresh and delicious, and topped with a perfect and attentive service that made us feel like home.
There are also plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options, and yet with all the rich flavors.

(December 20, 2021, 12:38 am)This place deserves 5 stars for the service alone, extremely friendly people and I wish I was staying in Halifax longer so I could have went again. I went in a group of 6 and we were all in agreement that this place is amazing. The baklava is the best I have ever had, magnificent overall.

(July 27, 2021, 2:00 pm)Absolutely lovely. Truly authentic, family-run restaurant. Last time I went there there were 3 generations helping out in the kitchen and counter. Their variety is great and you can either go with full meals or create your own little shareable "Turkish tapas" with smaller portions of many things. Their lentil soup is the best I've had. Apparently it is an authentic Turkish recipe that has been in the chef's family for over 200 years - he told me himself. Their falafel meal is also fantastic, along with the Turkish salad. Their homemade hummus is the best west of Istanbul.

(July 26, 2021, 8:52 pm)This place is a hidden gem. The service is exceptional and the food is incredible. My partner has done a lot of travelling and said it is the best baklava outside of Turkey. Prices are great. Always fresh. Great place to get take out for the week. They offer small and large containers to go .
