  Basically the hub of downtown Halifax. Great culture, great weekend market, library is right there and a couple of nice restaurants. Great way to spend an afternoon!

  They have a great Wednesday Market from 3pm to 8pm featuring several craft artisans, food vendors and a piano bar. Come check it out.It's fun

  The newly renovated areas are wonderful, great place to plug in and relax, the ferry terminal seating could use an update but other then that just a really great place for traveling food and sometimes concerts. Great place.

  Alderney landing has a great little market with lots of local talent. A nice little library to take the kids or to go and find a quiet place to read or study. Great views of the water and a great spot to catch the ferry or bus.

  Easy to find.
  
  Access to ferry.
  
  Farmer's market daily.
  
  Evan's Seafood serve the best fish & chips I've ever had. And they're gluten free. Also has a great zucchini chocolate cake. Yum!
  
  There's a library there that spans 3 stories and has everything.
