Amazing variety compared to other similar restaurants in Halifax. The staff were very friendly, the ingredients fresh and the decor tasteful.

My only complaint about my visit during their soft launch was the grill itself was a bit cold and food longer to cook than other restaurants in town. Whenever we increased the gas to the grill, even by just a small amount, someone on staff would come by and reduce it. When it comes to customers cooking their own meat, I would suggest it is better to let them overcook it than undercook it.

Loved this place until the mandatory tip was added to the bill. It was a turn off as most times, the standard is 15% if happy with service. I always viewed a tip as a choice the customer is to make so was not happy about this.

So I decided to give this place a try on a very busy night (Saturday), and I got to say I'm very impressed.

The buffet included a nice selection of meat and it was all delicious. My favorite cut was the pork belly, but generally it was all great.
They had a paste that we were told they make in house and it was incredible, I had to get another serving of it.
Portions were good, but that doesn't matter because it's a buffet and you can ask for more of ANYTHING you want.

The service was excellent, we were taken care of from minute one. The server was very diligent and helpful, she got us our food fairly fast and was very informative when we asked questions about the food.
When we asked for more food, we got it really fast.

Overall a great experience, I would definitely recommend trying this place and I'm definitely coming back for more.

I did the all-you-can-eat BBQ option for $26.95 (Mon-Thurs). I was pretty pleased with the restaurant, although I have some ideas for improvement.

The ambience is lively when you come in, particularly when it is busy as it was during my visit. The restaurant was full and it took probably 10 minutes after being seated to be able to order. The server advised us that there is a mandatory, automatic 12% tip added on bills for AYCE meat. My total came to $34.22 in the end.

We ordered a variety of meats and I thought the quality of the food itself was very good. The meat all seemed very fresh and well-sliced and butchered.

My main point of criticism with the meats is that for the most part they were not pre-marinated for us like I have had at other Korean BBQ restaurants. I am used to having the meat arrive at the table having already been soaked in delicious sauces prior to grilling. They were delivered to us plain and we had a small quantity of sauces we could add after cooking. One was a honey mustard sauce that didn't seem to go well with the food, and one was a red sauce I didn't enjoy very much, but the last sauce, which was reminiscent of a typical bulgogi beef marinade, was good.

One of the menu items for AYCE was shrimp, and there were good-sized, but again had no marinade or seasoning, and were not shelled or deveined, so the shell was very difficult to remove and I ended up eating more of the shell than I would have liked. I normally love shrimp but they tasted so, so plain without putting any extra sauce on them after cooking (and not very much sauce is provided for this purpose).

Another menu item was "sausage", which turned out to be a trio of what we would normally call breakfast sausage. It seemed out of place to me and I don't recommend it.

I had to ask for rice, which was a little strange, and they said a couple times during our visit that they had run out of rice.

Overall, I enjoyed myself and would go back but it would be far better if they marinated the meats before delivering them to the tables.
