I recently had the most wonderful experience with Lisa at The Hardwood Tree. I am new to woodworking/ woodturning and have struggled to find sources for good quality and reasonably priced local hardwood, so when I discovered The Hardwood Tree just eight minutes from my home, I was elated. Lisa showed me around her shop, spent nearly an hour chatting about wood, and our mutual hobbies and helping me find what I needed, she even helped me carry it out to my car! She is very knowledgeable about woodworking and local species', along with their best uses. I will definitely be going back for many years to come and will also share this little treasure in the woods with friends and family.
