  I feel like a groom everytime I leave his shop. Very personable and talented. He is also always finding new ways to revolutionize the industry. I highly recommend this business.

  The first time I went to Mike's for a cut I showed up to a dimly lit basement and a kitchen chair. I'll admit I was a little thrown off but as soon as Mike wen't to work I quickly noticed his eye for detail and professionalism kick in. After he was done I could tell I would be a return customer even before he picked up the mirror to show me the sick line up. Mike has now been my barber for 8 Months. He has not only became a great friend but his passion and work has inspired me to pursue a life as a Barber. Mike's new location at The Rebel Base Barbershop is spacious, comfy and has all the bells and whistles, including my favourite hot towel shave. Finally he has the space to do what he does best!!

  Exemplary barbershop, with personal service second to none. Great cuts, excellent beard trimming and styling, wonderful products that work (and smell) great. Service that is worth every penny. Plus a nice doggy.

  I have long looked for a place to get a great high and tight with a nice beard fade. I found Mike on Facebook working out of his home cutting hair. I took and chance and trust me, it was well worth it. I received a haircut above what I have ever received since leaving the military. The customer service is great and Mike treats his customers with a personalized service you won’t find in other shops. I encourage anyone wishing to receive a great cut that is not rushed and worth every penny you might spend to visit Mike at his new shop. He has put a lot of work into his new shop and ensuring he provides his customers with the best experience possible. Mike will always have a loyal customer in me.

  This guys really knows his stuff! Best haircut I've gotten in St. John's! And he trims my beard like a boss. Treat yourself and go meet this master of hair.
