(July 3, 2019, 3:56 am)Met and exceeded the hype on their fish and chips. Quite possibly the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Golden crispy flakes on the outside and succulent steamy cod fish on the inside. Wash it down with a cool brewski and your all set for the day.

(June 26, 2019, 11:51 pm)Best Fish & Chips we’ve had so far on our trip to Newfoundland! Lightly battered, not greasy, thick cut cod and delicious fries!!!
We had such a lovely server - his name was Keith, he chatted with us and was so pleasant. We would highly recommend this spot, and it’s conveniently located right by the ferry dock. The fish and chips here was wayyyy better than what we had in St.John’s. -

If you're traveling to or visiting Bell Island Dicks' is a staple you cannot leave without saying you've been there! Staff is great, lots of cool stuff to look at inside the lounge and decent food! I'd imagine its probably a rocking joint on the weekend in the summertime; will definitely be back later in the summer to check that out!!
