Country Cottage

Loved this place! We were in the area and had never been before. The portions were very generous! My husband got the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was huge! My daughter got a giant chocolate chip, Mickey Mouse shaped pancake that was delicious! Everyone at our table was pleased wih the food and service. We will definitely drive back from Rochester to visit again! Thank you!

Truly a wonderful place to come and enjoy breakfast, they offer a full menu including dinner options. Today I came just for the breakfast and that's what my review will be based on. Upon entering you are at the hostess stand that is joined to a long counter with stools to eat at. To the left is an open floor with multiple tables that you can eat at as well. The place is themed in pig decor from the paintings, stuff animals and other pig figures. Everything is clean with a country feeling. When it comes to the food, it was not hard to find something to order. The menu is very big and everything is described clear and thoroughly. I decided on the hearty man breakfast which consisted of, two pancakes, two eggs,two sausage, two Bacon's and a side of hash browns. Unbelievable how much food you get for $12 and the food tasted wonderful. I would've liked though if the pancakes was served with whipped butter on top. But it was still fine the way they were served. I had so much food I had to take half home. A friend of mine had the same meal, but he opted for french toast. The French toast was just as delicious. Again a truly nice place to come. Next time I will try their dinner, I am looking forward to seeing how their fish frys are.

Wonderful lunch. Terrific fish and chips. Very thick filets and thin batter. Watched someone get an order onion rings...wow, never seen a larger plate of rings

Good coffee, quick and friendly service, food is of good quality and value. Hash browns and eggs were fried perfectly and breakfast sausage gravy w biscuits are tasty. We didn't get dessert but they are known to be very good and always have a variety of pies and milkshakes.
