(July 7, 2019, 11:47 pm)Fisherman love it here! The kayak launch requires a small walk from parking lot. Once there, the drop in is easy due to high waters, simply set your kayak on the concrete slab, step in and off you go!. The river provides a bit of a current but is very doable.

(August 25, 2018, 1:06 am)The fishing dock at at Joseph Davis State Park has many bass bluegills and even one Pike swimming through its murky Waters. This dock would be a good place to swim if there weren't so many Rusty hooks that have sunk to the bottom. Aquatic Footwear is required to explore underwater crevices
