(May 4, 2019, 5:27 pm)Looks good after hours spent cleaning it up today. Now I know why straws should be banned. There was also a large amount of plastic tampon applicators, shotgun shells, & firework remnants.

(September 20, 2018, 3:00 am)Off the beaten path - very quiet. I have never seen anyone here. Parking lot leads to a long boardwalk that protects the dunes. Interesting trees on both sides. Beach is quiet and clean. Lots of birding opportunities!

(September 1, 2018, 8:12 am)Love this spot! No fee to get in. You get to walk a nice trail out to the beach. You can swim as far as you want, even bring a floaty if you'd like! Most people are friendly that you meet there. A lot of people will go there by boat. It's just beautiful! Only downside is that sometimes parking can be difficult on a busy day, and no bathrooms.
