(September 8, 2020, 6:55 pm)This place is amazing!! Love coming here. Prices are very fair for all the hard work that goes in to everything. I've paid 2-3 times as much for less in the big cities. Check out their wicked selection of jams and jellies. Lunch was awesome as well.

(September 4, 2020, 7:28 pm)I love his bakery. We don't live in the area and always make a point of stopping by. When we are coming through. Sadly, we keep missing them as during this pandemic they are only open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. I found this out after looking on Facebook.
If you prefer a bakery that is about flavour and not just a sugar buzz this is a must for you. -

Will definitely return to spend other, non-river-acquired money. -

(October 10, 2018, 9:26 pm)I wish I had thought to snap some photos, but I was too busy marvelling at all the fresh baked goods and how nice, bright, and clean this space was. It's deceptively large based on what I saw on the outside and they really do have a great selection with wonderfully moist, fresh baked goods. We ate something like 3 loaves of the jogging bread over the long weekend.
If you're in or near Sussex, this is a must-see place for desserts and breads!
