There is a difference, alright. In September of 2019 I was wrongfully fired from my job in the banking sector. The reason given to me was that I violated the privacy act. There was no investigation, no statement taken from the people who were involved, no chance for me to explain my side of the story….just straight to termination of my employment.
The stress that followed was enormous. I was devastated not only were my employment benefits helping to pay for my son’s medication for a life threatening disease I was, at the time, the only one in my family of four working to support ourselves.
