(February 26, 2019, 6:25 pm)I went to Sacred heart 8 years ago and had an AMAZING experience. When I got home I immediately immersed myself in a 12 step program. I attended daily meetings and found a sponsor right away. Working the steps changed my life in the most incredible ways. I am a recovering alcoholic AND an addict who was willing to go to ANY LENGTHS for a better life. Rehab is just the beginning of anyone's recovery. You need practice the principles in your life every day - one day at a time. I have been clean and sober since August 10th 2011 and it was my time at Sacred heart that got the wheels in motion. My 22 year old daughter is entering Sacred Heart in 2 days from today and I pray she will have the same willingness as I did.
