Bella Vista - Luxury Living

We have lived at Bella Vista since June 2022 and as long as our circumstances allow, we intend to remain. Early in 2022, our minimum criteria for a new living space had five dimensions:
- a decently sized apartment within our budget;
- pet friendly/welcoming (not just pet 'tolerant');
- a primary bedroom and living room area could accommodate our larger furniture as well as some storage space;
- two full bathrooms;
- heated parking area.

We searched the south end of the City of Winnipeg (older and new builds) and until we found Bella Vista, none of the many apartments/townhomes we visited met all of our criteria. Some were quite lovely but most often, the biggest issue was that the primary bedroom was too small to accommodate a king sized bed plus two night tables.

In addition to meeting our minimum criteria, we have have found a home at Bella Vista that provides a wonderful, walkable and diverse neighbourhood with a lovely park across the street, good neighbours, caretaking/maintenance staff that are friendly and strive to meet the needs of tenants in the best way they can and, good proximity to shopping (including grocery and drug store), restaurants, etc.

We could not ask for more. There is just one thing that could be negative for some people who struggle with sleep. The building is proximate to a north/south rail line and several times in the night so you can hear the train warning whistle. We have learned to accept/accommodate that reality which isn't likely to change in the foreseeable future.

The positive attributes far outweigh the negative.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bella Vista Residency, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This establishment truly exceeded all of my expectations.
One aspect that truly stood out was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. Their dedication to providing top-notch service is truly commendable.

We have lived here since the building opened. Other than a few glitches that are to be expected with a new opening, all has been above our expectations. The building is quiet,safe and our unit is verycomfortable. The management and on site staff couldn't be better. They are always there, enthusiastic and ready to address tennant concerns.
