(October 15, 2019, 2:37 pm)A friend invited me to a perogi pinching party, when I was growing up we called them nip-&-tuck parties, but the idea is the same, spend a few hours making perogi for the church auxiliary groups. It was as much fun as I remember. This place has a regular assembly line organized and you basically sit around chatting and gossiping about life the universe and everything. There's a coffee break and a lunch (pierogies featuring heavily) and if all goes well, there's a free dozen for you to take home. Sadly we didn't make enough to supply the freebie but there was extra dough and they gave that to us. We used it at our own party the next weekend and made about 12 dozen sauerkraut perogi for our own personal use. Used some of them as a bonus to the snow shoveled and yard cleaners that gave us a hand after the snow storm.
All in all it was a fun time, enjoyed the lunch, made use of the free dough and am looking forward to doing it again. -

Our entire family and my daughter invited to the christening were deeply impressed by the kindness of the atmosphere and the very process of baptism! The best impressions were left after the visit! Thanks!
