(August 12, 2021, 10:53 pm)Trailhead of the Senkiw Bridge portion of the Crow Wing Trail.
The Crow Wing Trail is long trail and this trailhead is just the start of a middle section of the trail.
This section of trail starts about 8 km (via gravel road) from the town of Roseau River. Which is about 91kms from Winnipeg and takes about one hour and 15 minutes.
We found that you could park on the side of the road and walk to the trailhead. Despite it being a beautiful day there were only a couple of cars.
The trailhead has a portable toilet, which was clean, when we were there. Also they have a garbage can.
There is a good sign that explains the route and it's history.
The trail is well marked out and easy to travel. The bridge is a little tricky to get onto and getting across since hand rails are not the greatest. -

(August 1, 2021, 1:35 am)Very nice place to hike. Lovely scenery and wasn't super busy. Few little spots along the way to stop and rest or picnic. Will visit again for sure, love them little gem!

(June 4, 2021, 7:50 pm)This hidden gem was awesome to explore. Very few people on the path and you can access it from both ends of the trail so it's 2.5 km or 500 feet making it accessible to most people!

(October 8, 2020, 6:39 pm)We loved it!! Our kids loved(ages 2 1/2 , 6, 8 and 10 yrs old).
Our family really enjoyed our 2 hour walk together through here!! So beautiful in the fall!! WOULD DEFINITELY VISIT AGAIN -

(June 1, 2020, 6:17 pm)This was a fun area to explore. It's a short loop which is great for the little ones to walk, lots of wildlife and plants to see. The bridge was fun and learning about its history was really cool. There are more trails that lead off from this loop so going on a longer hike here is definitely an option.
