I grew up driving past this place all the time but never went because it looks so plain from the highway, but the exhibits are very well done and really tell a story and take you back. On par with big city museums, this place is a gem! Expect to spend at least an hour and a half to see everything, longer if you read the signs and appreciate feeling like you were there.

(August 26, 2020, 3:45 am)We enjoyed our walk around the yard, with so many buildings to walk through and things to see. I hope that in the near future the kids activity building will be able to re-open so that we can come back to enjoy that part of the tour as well. Very pleasant staff greeting us gave it a wonderful start, thank you for having us.

Clear to see that there's a well organized staff who keep it running well.
