It's a high end buffet place and has lots of options. I do wish it had more flavour and aroma. The taste was just normal, nothing to make me eat till my tummy bursts
Great place for Chinese food. Quality buffet with a wide assortment of foods. Fresh salads as well as sushi, soups and ice cream. Hard and soft. Also fresh hot chicken and pizza as well as a variety of bread and deserts. Really a nice place to go to.
Good price, accordingly good food. Don’t go in expecting too much, be pleasantly surprised- I say this because considering the wide variety of food they have, from sushi to ribs atleast on my last visit, they do a good job of making quality food. Keeping it heated up and available is a story itself but food is still good, texture and taste-wise. And they have an ice cream machine! That’s just the nail in the coffin.
Buffet was okay. The casual food (fried goodies, chicken wings, etc) was okay and some was even deceiving. Sushi and seafood stuff was good, would rate 4/5. I ordered a mango smoothie which was, seriously, mango ice cream that they blended. I was very disappointed with the smoothie. Service was good, they took our plates often which was awesome. The location of the buffet was good but it's really hard to have a parking spot. Exiting the parking lot was also a challenge since you are very close to a busy intersection (st james and portage Avenue).
Overall, good experience and good food if you go for seafood, but you may be disappointed if you eat the fried food and "non-seafood" stuff. Price was fair and average for buffets
Ye's is a nice little Sunday lunch with the family. The food is better than the average Chinese buffet, prices a little steeper– but always worth the occasion. If you're looking for a spot to take the in-laws, or just celebrate a birthday, it will hit the marks for everyone.
Price could be cheaper in my opinion, and dessert selection is a little lacking. Staff is friendly and not overbearing, and the facility is clean and modern. It's Foody Goody 2.0 - better.
