  After deciding that a companion might be a good thing for a family member, I contacted Right At Home, and a meeting was arranged. I was surprised by both the level of professionalism and the compassion of the Co-ordinator. Wasn't expecting that ... especially in regards to compassion.
  
  She was very thorough in acquiring a good understanding of her potential client, taking notes while we talked. And there were (I think) 3 meetings, one she volunteered to attend with his doctor, if I was okay with that ... to which I agreed.
  
  All this was to help her determine who of her staff would be a good fit for my son. And after completing her assessment, I was surprised to find that there would be 3 different people for the first 3 visits, consequtively. The one who seemed to be best suited would then be selected as a permanent companion, yet with the idea that this could be changed if it did not pan out.
  
  It has now been around 3 weeks... and it has been great. My son looks forward to the visits, which are 2 hours duration. Seems like it has become a highlight of his week.
  
  And I should add that one of the Co-ordinators has filled in ... and that has also been just as positive an experience, as his regular companion.
  
  I am more than pleased and very grateful for the exceptional service provided by Right At Home. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of companion services.
