Alfy's Noodle House

This is my favorite place to gather with friends!!! The noodles the broth the spice is all superb. If your a veggitarian fear not they have a very flavorful veggie broth and a sesame noodle bowl that are seriously amazing!

If you want to experience authentic northern Chinese cuisine come to Alfy's it will be the best decision you made all week!

Best noodles ever! The wantons are fabulous and the people are really nice to us. Our group loves to congregate here for Sunday lunch. ????????

Alfred, the man behind Alfy’s Noodle House, is an enthusiastic, friendly, and passionate noodle house owner. I had the opportunity to chat with him while ordering my food, and just before leaving the restaurant. I could barely say bye as the restaurant was starting to fill up as it was lunch time!

I ordered #9, the Sesame Paste Beef Noodle, which is wheat noodles, sesame paste, stewed beef chunks, pickled long beans, and roasted peanuts. I also had a seasoned egg on the side.

The noodles were great! Very nice bite, the sauce was great, and spice was just as I liked. I ordered the hottest available spice, and it was exactly as I expected.

The first thing I noticed was the Ambience of Alfy’s Noodle House. It was clean, spacious, and bright, something very desirable in my books.

Ordering is relatively easy. You go up to the cashier and pick the dish, then the spice level, pay, and wait for your bowl of noodles to arrive at your table.

I highly recommend Alfy’s for both foodies and first time noodle house visitors. Alfred is very knowledgeable in regards to the history of some noodle dishes, how different types of noodles are made, and probably all things Chinese food!

The portions are generous. The prices are reasonable. The menu has a good range of choices to satisfy most palates. (Be aware that there are peanuts used here.)
I saw no forks, so if trying chopsticks scares you too much, this may not be the place for you.
The service was a bit slow so give yourself enough time if you're coming for lunch.
All in all, a good value.
