  I've had the opportunity on many occasions over the last 10 years of experiencing the fantastic professional services of Defining Space Decorating, for my office and home, which including both internal and external painting.
  
  It would be easy to say that the skill and pride Arthur (owner) takes in his work, is second to none, but what does this really mean?
  
  I think sharing my first experience with Arthur would be best to attempt to explain what one might experience using his services.
  
  I am a customer who has no interior design imagination whatsoever. So when I was looking for someone to help bring my 80's built home near St.Vital Park with lots of existing wood (oak) back to life, I did not just need a good painter, I needed someone with an understanding of what I might be looking for, even though I did not have a clue at the time of what I wanted. I think it would also only be fair to mention, despite me not knowing what I wanted, I can be quite particular. For most, this might have been a daunting task to take on, but for Arthur this is one of many of his strengths that explains his well deserved success.
  
  When Arthur came to my home the first time, we sat at my kitchen table to discuss painting the entire interior of my home. I had no clue where to start, but fortunately he did.
  
  He saw that I had some red Starbucks coffee cups, that I had displayed in my kitchen. Sadly this was my pathetic attempt to add a "punch" of color to lots of existing woods and neutral colors. From these cups, Arthur ended up incorporating some dark red accent walls throughout my house. Admittedly, I was not eager to try this, but Arthur who had very quickly earned my trust and confidence, took the lead. The end result was fantastic, which has lead to a decade long relationship.
  
  Arthur comes from a pedigree of skilled European painters, who was taught hands on by his father at an extremely young age. Although there are many entertaining stories that came from this traditional upbringing, the end result is a work ethic that is based on a level of quality and pride in his work, that you would be extremely had pressed to find any where else.
  
  But to me, the most important thing I experienced was the simplicity and confidence in his work. Arthur brings great "peace" to my home when he works. I leave him and his team in my home, knowing that at the end of each day upon my return, everything will be meticulously cleaned up. While he and his team are in your home (which can be for several weeks on the bigger jobs) you never will feel like your home is turned upside down. Instead he will keep you posted, proactively I might add, on expectations and leave you with a clean home and a good sense of progress.
  
  I, like most, have had many experiences with people involved in the ongoing upkeep of our family home for which we take great pride in of course. And although we've had the good fortune of having many great people work on our home, Arthur stands far above the rest, in both the end result of the work you hired his company to do, and the gold standard service he delivers each and every time.
  
  It is with no hesitation, that I would recommend his services to those the believe in paying a fair price for top quality work and exceptional service.

  We were lucky enough to have Arthur paint our home, and we could not be happier with the work he did for us. During the engagement we discovered that not only does Arthur have an incredible artistic sense, but the attention he paid to every detail of the job was impressive. We found Arthur to be very personable and professional as he provided guidance and numerous suggestions that we found to be very helpful in the design and color decision making process. We will be sure to have Defining Space involved with any future changes to our home. We confidently recommend Defining Space to everyone!

  We chose Defining Space over other companies because of their professionalism, thoroughness and attentiveness of the owner. They arrived when scheduled, on time & efficiently while being respectful of our property & space. Would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again.

  Defining Space is the only decorating company I use, for both my commercial and residential properties. They combine old world craftsmanship with a modern flare to make your space look amazing. I highly recommend them.
