The area is always kept clean inside and out. Valleyveiw is quiet with lots of trail for hiking and biking. My neighbors are super awesome!! Oh, also so is management (Kevin) and maintenance (Oliver)? I think, good people

I've been living in one of the buildings for about two years now and love it. It's pet-friendly, which is why I wanted to live here since it's so hard to find places to rent that allow pets. Plus, the self-serve dog wash on site is super handy.

My dog is a collie x, so having hiking trails right behind my apartment is a huge plus for us! Management and staff are also friendly, which is a bonus. :)

Hillside Walk is well run and managed. There is full time staff that continually maintain and and keep the facility up. Kevin, the manager is the most efficient, knowledgeable and organized manager we've ever encountered. The entire organization is a well run machine. Every time we have had a maintenance issue is has been dealt with promptly.

Hillside Walk Apartments are a great option for folks with pets. There are plenty of offleash options just East of the building, as well as a small fenced gravel area for going potty. Poop bags are provided on the first floor as well as at 3 stations outside. There is a professional dog washing station in the parkade with a high velocity dryer. This is free to use. For the most part, all the doggies get along and there aren’t any ‘barkers’. The building has had a new manager since late 2020 and he does a good job keeping the place running smoothly. Folks who follow the rules will love it here. Those who infringe on other’s peaceful enjoyment (noise, weed, abusive attitude) will find themselves looking for other accommodation. The maintenance staff does a great job keeping the building clean. Sometimes the elevator is a bit finicky but isn’t out of order for too long. Residential Tenancy rules and regulations are followed to the letter with lots of notice for any maintenance or entry requests. I can’t comment on the noise from above since I’m on the top floor but I never hear neighbors unless they are playing heavy bass music. Overall it’s been a positive experience and a real lifesaver when we needed a pet-friendly place for the winter.

I have had the pleasure of living in this building since it opened and I can honestly say I love it here! I will say, it has significantly improved over the past year. The property is kept exceptionally clean by the lovely cleaner, the manager is hyper responsive, friendlier than anyone I have ever met and pretty funny too. The maintenance man, Oliver is always timely with any repairs or concerns I have had; he even helped me move my TV to my suite one day when he saw me struggling. The unit has in suite laundry and most of my neighbors are pretty decent exceptional to the ones who don't pick up after their dogs. I really love that we have a dog wash station. My baby loves lakes and puddles so this is perfect for us. I love that the building is not anywhere near downtown and yet it takes no time at all to travel around. I have rented for over 15 years and of course, like any other apartment there's regular apartment noises (people be people y'know) and a few small things that come up however, this is a company that I feel cares about me, I feel safe in the building and my concerns are always addressed. I really cannot ask for more. Sorry Kevin, you're stuck with me for a while!
