(July 29, 2019, 12:03 am)Great hospital. Not too long ago it saw a renovation, but since than the Sunshine Coast had an increase in population. It needs another expansion to keep up with the times. Parking is limited.

(February 6, 2019, 1:56 am)My wife was experiencing severe heart pains. She was admitted to Sechelt Hospital Emergency Department the moment we arrived. The doctors on call were excellent. All Emergency staff worked professionally and efficiently. My wife stayed 3 nights, and found the nursing staff to be friendly, attentive and caring. She was only discharged after she had been taken by ambulance to and from Vancouver for an angiogram. She left Sechelt Hospital knowing she would be meeting with a specialist for continued monitoring and care. We thank, and praise, everyone who was involved.

(August 21, 2018, 4:06 pm)I was admitted into this hospital for 5 days after being diagnosed with a severe ear infection. I cannot speak highly enough about the care I received during my stay here. The nurses and doctors were friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I plan to retire on the Coast, so it is important for us to know there is a good hospital close by. I feel confident that St. Mary’s is that hospital.
