(October 1, 2021, 2:03 am)A lovely camp ground nestled within forest and mountains. Cabins are small but functional…. And warm!! A great place to get away and enjoy the coast. Super close to downtown Gibsons. Ferry terminal is right beside the camp but an issue at all!

(May 12, 2021, 3:33 pm)This camp was free for me as a child of 9,10 and 11 the kids from downtown east side got to eat well and just be kids and not just run the streets all summer,.The times are quite different from what they were 53years ago and it was acceptable for children to be running around unescorted, these days child services will incarcerate any child into foster care and most of the homes are not there for the kids but for the cash they will be able to get out of the system for the rotten bratty displaced child victims of the system that's monetized family services that need to break up families in order to justify their exorbitant salary. The thing about camp Sunrise is that the place has stood still in time and the memories of my time there are exciting and profound .This was when in retrospect I learned that I had choices in my life that could be of crime and evil or something else that I was told that could be mine even though the ways can be tough, that God's love will always help me to be a better person.

(August 8, 2020, 7:20 am)Wow I remember this place when I was a kid. Used to go to the summer camp that took place for the kids. My cousin and I were just talking about this place. It has changed alot since the 90s lol. I remember the games by the campfire, singing, and the area where we used to watch veggie tales. I miss this camp alot.
