(October 17, 2018, 12:01 am)Beautiful spot! The Squamish Spit is certainly worth a visit. Good place for lunch and a nice walk. Great spot to get into the ocean or river quickly if you don’t plan on spending the night.

(July 5, 2017, 5:45 pm)Tiampo Park, also known locally as "The Spit", is a great end of trail walkway for the nearby estuary. This park is popular in the community for its beauty, as well as to the broader Wind Kite community because of the high winds coming up the channel.
