(February 16, 2021, 7:38 pm)I took two pair of scissors to Ken to sharpen. Neither had been sharpened for years. This was my first time. He took the time to show me important things about the sharpening of scissors. I picked them up a few hours later. At home I found them considerably sharper! In fact, I learned (without Ken saying so) that I could do better in keeping them more protected. So I made leather and wool felt protectors for these two scissors.

(January 5, 2021, 10:26 pm)Ken was so helpful. We brought him our super old second hand knives and he was able to make them useable. He was also incredibly helpful with advice for new knives to purchase. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy with his service even after we came home. He is fairly priced and the integrity he has for his business really makes the difference. We will definitely be going back with our new knives for maintenance.

(November 17, 2020, 6:42 pm)Anyone in the central island area that needs knives, gardening tools, scissors, etc sharpened, Ken the knife sharpener is your go to guy! Last year after I foolishly took a chip out of my expensive Japanese high carbon chef's knife, Ken was able to bring it back to perfect!
I have since taken all my kitchen knives to him and sent a few friends to him as well. Everyone is totally satisfied with service, professional attention to detail and Ken's knowledgeable helpful advice!
Easy drop off, pickup and quick turnaround are all part of Ken's customer first approach!
Don't hesitate to call...no one needs to suffer with dull knives!
Very reasonable rates!
