Morningstar Golf Club

Nice course but not an enjoyable experience. Hassled by members and staff to hurry up. Says on the website 4 and a half hours to play. We played it in 4 hours 20 minutes with the group behind us waiting for us once or twice for maybe a minute. I play golf, I know the etiquette and we kept a good pace, shouldn't have been an issue and should have been a nice time but the constant pressure to hurry up really ruined the day for all of us. Plenty of other nice courses. Definitely won't be returning in a hurry. I'll give my money to a course that actually wants me there.

It's a true championship course both in length and design. It's always fun to play and course conditions continue to reach higher levels. Would recommend.

Had a great time at Morningstar. Staff and starters were great and the price was right. Course was challenging and fun.

Nice course that is well maintained and has a good layout. One common issue I find with many courses on Vancouver Island is Customer service is either great or horrible.

I called in my tee time and asked if I did want to drive a cart if I should reserve they said no. Then when paying at check-in I got an earful about how I should reserve. Mixed signal shows inconsistently in customer service training.

Glad the course has turned around recently but hope they can put a little more thought into their customer experience and staff training.
