(June 26, 2021, 4:00 pm)Charming place with good food. Shared the muscles appie which was absolutely amazing. Then had the Prime Rib as the main which was good, done perfectly to my ask. The accompaniments were just average but have to say the Veggies were done perfectly. Not over done, still had a nice crispness to them. My wife had the NY steak which she said was very good, tender and jucy and done perfectly.
The most outstanding however was the server. She made a very good meal, an excellent meal. If you are looking for a good steak in Parksville this is hard to beat. -

(June 20, 2021, 7:09 pm)Outstanding service from John 😷 we ordered crab cakes , garden salad which were both good . For the mains we ordered Friday prime rib excellent! Lobster tail excellent! Veal schnitzel good , the purple cabbage & spatzel we’re the best part of the dish . Deserts grand marnier crem caramel good but the best dessert was this baked apple puff dough thing . Highly recommend this restaurant

Went for dinner last night, service was great, food was absolutely amazing, and I was happy with the Covid protocols they had in place.
My only complaint is that my steak was over cooked. Regardless I enjoyed it. -

(April 17, 2021, 1:56 am)Highly recommend. Excellent food and excellent service. I'll definitely be back soon. Very covid safe with their outdoor patio, which is also really nice. Can't say enough good things about Kalvas'. Ask for Hank, he's really really good.
