(January 20, 2021, 3:46 am)Have been here for over 5 years and it has been and hopefully great to be with great services in Parksville and near by Qualicum beach. Would like to be home with our Families in the Okanagan but one of the safest places to be during the health problems. Also no snow to shovel.

(September 14, 2020, 4:17 am)Pleasant campsite - we had one of the few tent sites; it is a very busy campsite with lots of permanent looking RVs, but a good place to spend a night. Good hot showers and flush toilets and a nice walk down to the riverside.

(August 23, 2020, 2:35 am)We booked a walk-in tent site and it was by far the most beautiful part of the whole resort. The rest of the resort was nice and tidy, but if you want to feel like you're actually camping "off-the-beaten-path" a bit, I'd recommend the walk-in sites. They're more private and roughly 30 steps away from the river (a beautiful sound to fall asleep to, I might add) and since the walk-in sites are somewhat detached from the rest of the resort via a steep dirt trail, that portion of the river is way less busy.

(July 24, 2020, 3:03 pm)The best facility for families that i have seen in a long time. The round about set up is awesome, the paved roads for the kids to ride bikes was a huge hit. Our family loved that there was something for each of us, from tenting to cabins we had so much choice. The river beach area is phenomenal, love that it is private to the resort. I found the staff to be so friendly, housekeepers to the front office everyone was very nice and accommodating. I think this place should have more than 2 stars as its the perfect beach and river venue around
