(August 30, 2019, 4:32 pm)What a great fishing trip! Took my 9 year old son and my wife fishing for the first time and Bill made the perfect end to a great summer vacation in Parksville. We decided on a half day charter and it was worth every penny. We landed approximately 40lbs of fish and Bill took care of everything including cleaning our fish. He made it very easy and enjoyable to sit back and enjoy the sites. Definitely recommend using Active Angler Fishing Charters and plan on doing it again next year.

(July 26, 2019, 4:05 pm)We came to the island to visit family and went out salmon fishing with Bill for the morning. We had a truly amazing experience. Bill was very informative and answered all of our questions. His boat is set up to do what it is supposed to do. Right down to remote control steering. Even our daughter had a great time wearing her arms out, fighting an ocean salmon. Next time we're back visiting family, we will be heading out with Bill for another great day of fishing. There is no question that this is the guy I would reccomend to anyone wanting to head out on the water out of French Creek. Thanks again Bill!

(August 24, 2018, 3:27 am)What a wonderful experience! My first time on a fishing charter boat, also my first time salmon fishing. We caught a few hatchery Coho Salmon and were able to take them home to enjoy later (YUM - can’t get fish much fresher than that). We were pleasantly surprised by Bill’s extensive knowledge on the ocean, fishing and boating in general, and felt very safe on his boat. In addition to that, Active Anglers was one of the few companies in the area that could accommodate our group of 5 passengers, and we enjoyed his lighthearted humour and positive attitude throughout the day. Needless to say, Bill is the guy you want to be with for an exceptional charter experience. Loved it!
