LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services

I had an appointment booked at 8:00 a.m. and I only had to wait a couple of minutes to get in. That was great, but the receptionist said for me to take a seat and there wasn't anywhere to sit down, so I waited back by the door. While I was waiting, two people left because their appointments were finished. I opened the door and physical distanced while they got through the doorway. I was wearing my mask and a visor.
While I was outside, to maintain the distancing, my name was called for my appointment. I didn't hear, but a nice man who waiting for his appointment let me know that my name was called to go into the room. I thanked him and headed toward the room and asked the receptionist, who was now in the adjacent room, if I should go ahead in. She was quite rude as she said, "I already called your name." I didn't say anything, I just went in. When I was almost into the room I let her know I was outside letting people get by me. I was only trying to make sure she was okay with me walking in that area. This isn't even the reason I am giving 3 stars. She could have been having an off-day or stressed out.
It was too crowded with people coming and going. If I was elderly, this could have been a scary situation. There was a woman in the waiting room without a mask on and no indication or instruction of how we should be distancing. Luckily, most of us have learned how to social/physical distance correctly.
I would like to say that the girl who took my blood sample, did a wonderful job and was very nice. I might look into a different location next time, even though this location is close to my home.

Always professional and compassionate.

Staff is always super nice! They had some issues drawing my blood, I was getting overwhelmed and they helped me stay calm and comforted. They were also busy during this time and I did not feel rushed. Thank you.
