I don’t usually feel called to leave behind a review, mainly because my time is filled with the world's most vital to me little people, my children. My eldest daughter is four years old, and she has recently fallen victim to a treacherous cavity. Our family's dentist, Lantzville dentist (excellent clinic), referred us to Metral Paediatric Dental and another local paediatric office (who later called back with a consult appointment for July). This office contacted us first, with an appointment two weeks away. Words cannot describe how comforting it felt to get this, at the time, life-shaking, cavity consulted right away. Upon arrival, we were pleased to see that they are minimal to nill wait times are not the only thing that makes these professionals recommendable - it was also their professionalism, knowledgeability, cleanliness, timeliness, friendly staff and well-working team. And, of course, Dr Chen. Dr Chen, I hope you’re reading this: you were born to be a paediatric dentist, and your bedside manner with, on a good day, my anxious energy as a mother to my first little girl was next level comforting and helpful. Special thanks to the wonderfully communicative front desk staff and Sammy, our dental hygienist, who helped answer my daughter, who was asking me her 1000th question of the day hear the best course of treatment. And to conclude, even the dental procedure itself will be completed quickly, only a month wait time. Thank you for making life easier!
Dr. Alex Chen is the best pediatric dentist! My son has anxiety and because of this, he needs to know exactly what is going to happen. Dr. Chen went above and beyond to make sure my son knew exactly what he was doing, how it may feel, and how long it would last. He kept reassuring my son that he was doing well, he was awesome, etc. in the most calming voice. We had an excellent experience!
Dr. Chen is a very reliable pediatric specialist dentist. My daughter went to see him when she was 3, now she is 7. Dr. Chen replied to my question very soon, and he often talks to me by phone. He treated every kid like his own kid. He is a perfect doctor I have ever met!
