Heritage Indian Cuisine Nanaimo

My Grandson and I went for lunch today, first time trying this restaurant.
I just can’t say enough! All covid protocols followed.
Great atmosphere, service was excellent and the food was delicious. We ordered an appetizer to share, large portion and it was awesome. Two different curries, rice and nan bread, all were perfect. I ordered a separate curry to take home for my husband, he raved about it.
Definitely will be back, I had my first curry in England 45 years ago (I was hooked) and have enjoyed many since, including curries in New Delhi. I highly recommend you try Heritage Indian Cuisine, you won’t be disappointed. Cheers

ABC Country layout remains. The new owners have repainted and it looks pretty nice.
Standard Indian restaurant menu. Everything tasted great, and the level of spice was perfect for us. Prices seemed reasonable too.
Staff was helpful and polite.

Tried the take out tonight. Was excellent value with large portions. Fantastic variety of vegetarian options. Spicing was excellent and got to try interesting new dishes. Definitely give the pasanda sauce a try! I often find the Indian food I can get in restaurants too oily, but this was not the case here. We will definitely be back. Great new addition to North Nanaimo dining options. (Nice that the take out containers are all recyclable too.)

Delicious authentic cuisine with very generous portions. Spotlessly clean with nice attention to detail. The presentation of the food was lovely with cute little copper bakers. Service was friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being very busy with takeout. The only remark I have is the lights could be dimmed for a more intimate atmosphere. A great addition to North Nanaimo it gets a 5 outta 5 from me.
